Account Sales Manager
|
|
Responsible for developing sales opportunities for the (9) hotel properties in the Rochester Market. The Account Manager will solicit all types of travel with a focus on business travel. In addition they are responsible for maintaining existing accounts.
Duties include:
- Targeting accounts with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation
- Taking initiative to develop new strategies and uncover new business to generate sales Managing and developing relationships with key customers
- Proactively identifying, qualifying, and soliciting new business to achieve hotel revenue goals Closing of the best opportunities for the hotel based on market conditions and hotel needs Understanding the overall market in which they sell, competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc.
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Perform any assigned task not outlined above that the associate has the ability to perform
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of prior Sales experience is required
- Must have proven sales experience selling to Corporate & Leisure markets
- Must have aggressive negotiating skills and creative selling abilities
- Must have basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Must have working knowledge of accessing intranet to research future business Prior supervisory/management experience preferred
